Free Online GIS Tools
Browser-based utilities for geospatial workflows — no installation, no account, and no data sent to a server. Everything runs locally in your browser.
About Maparz Tools
Maparz Tools is a collection of free, browser-based utilities for geospatial professionals, GIS analysts, surveyors, and developers who work with coordinate data and spatial file formats. Unlike desktop GIS software, every tool on this page runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript — there is no backend processing, no data upload, and no account required. Your coordinates and spatial data never leave your device.
The first tool is the Coordinate Converter, which handles the four most common coordinate notation formats used in GIS: Decimal Degrees (the standard used by GeoJSON and most web mapping APIs), Degrees Minutes Seconds (common in surveying and printed maps), Degrees Decimal Minutes (used in GPS devices and aviation charts), and UTM (Universal Transverse Mercator, used in topographic mapping). More tools are in development, including a bounding box calculator, a CRS lookup table, and a GeoJSON linting tool.
